CNC Milling
Top of the line equipment provides the highest quality and precision parts. Marathon Precision maintains a commitment to capital investment in equipment ensuring that your parts are made with current state-of-the-art equipment.
CNC Turning
Marathon Precision has a large CNC Lathe department with State-of-the-art equipment including Intergrex 5 axis Lathes, Lathes with live tooling, bar feeders, everything needed to handle the most demanding parts.
Conventional Machining
Conventional machining equipment gives Marathon the flexibility to make more types of parts, even at low quantities, while maintaining a reasonable cost.
Grinding Department
Our high precision surface and O.D. grinding department allows Marathon Precision to hold incredibly high tolerances and tight concentricity, something that other shops send out to be completed.
Sinker and wire EDM
Most shops are fortunate to have one EDM, Marathon Precision has 3, both wire and sinker EDM’s. This equipment allows us to precisely cut features even into the hardest materials including hardened tool steels. EDM equipment offers a unique flexibility to take on the most demanding parts.
Waterjet Cutting
A waterjet can cut just about anything from rubber to stone, aluminum to glass. The water jet can also cut up to 10” of aluminum and 8” of steel which is difficult using other processes.
Laser Cutting
Marathon uses a state-of -the-art fiber laser that cuts fast, accurately, and leaves a smooth edge for precise and affordable parts.
Fabrication
Marathon Precisions services include fabrication and welding. Sub components made on the waterjet/laser, milled, or saw cut, can be expertly fabricated and welded to complete a part. Part finishes like black oxide or painting can also be completed in house.
Chemical Machining
Chemical Machining is a process where material is removed using chemical solutions until the final dimensions of the part is achieved. Although this process is used primarily for the paper conversion industry, it is applied to other types of parts as well.
Engineering & Quality Assurance
Marathon Precision engineering and quality departments maintain impeccable documentation and quality standards ensuring that parts are made to the highest standards and meet our customers expectations. As an ISO shop we have made continuous improvement a habit not a burden. Marathon is also ITAR compliant and working to achieve ISO-9100 in the near future.
Assembly
Marathon Precision provides assembly services that range from a simple task like pressing in a pin to large assemblies with many parts and processes to complete.
Contract Machining & Inventory Services
